A tasty recipe from one of the most famous Italian culinary channels "Giallo Zafferano". Ideal for rustic cuisine and pistachio lovers.
- Lasagne sheets 500g
- Bechamel 750ml
- Mozzarella 2
- Grated Parmesan 50g
- Sicilian Pistachio pesto 200g
- Mortadella sliced 250g
- Chopped pistachios 50g
(1) Mix the pistachio pesto with béchamel and a spoonful of Parmesan cheese.
(2) Compose your lasagna.
Take a baking dish, add a few tablespoons of bechamel with pistachio pesto on the bottom. Cover with fresh lasagna sheets the whole surface. Add on top more béchamel, pistachio pesto and a few slices of mozzarella. Cover again with more lasagna sheets. Add an entire layer of mortadella. Repeat the same process until finished all ingredients. Make sure to cover the last layer of sheets with bechamel, pesto and chopped pistachios
(3) Place in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 mins. If it browns too soon, cover with a layer of aluminium foil.
